Larsa Pippen stunned fans with a dramatic U-turn on her decision to sell her home as the reality television star moves into a new condo because it offers her some unique benefits as she forges her life as a single mother-of-four.
Her motive for selling the home at the time related to her relationship with Marcus Jordan, the son of the Chicago Bulls' Michael Jordan, as she wanted more space for the pair. However, as the two broke up around February 2024, Pippen has changed her mind.
The home is valued at around $3.375 million dollars and is located on Paramount Miami Worldcenter, with the Real Housewives of Miami personality listing it on the market for $4.2 million in January.
"I want to do both so I'm not selling the condo," Pippen told Access Hollywood's Housewives Nightcap. "So the weekends will be single Larsa and the weekdays will be like grandma vibes like just super like family vibes."
Owed to its extra privacy, it offers the 50-year-old the chance to court prospective partners away from the prying eyes of the public and media but it is also a signal of her independence and knowledge she made it to the big time after she divorced the NBA legend, Scottie Pippen.
"I paid for it with my own money," Pippen explained to the Real Housewives of Miami. "I didn't use any of my money from my divorce.
"I'm really proud of myself. It's my first real investment."
Why did Pippen and Jordan break up?
After meeting the son of the Bulls' legend, who has made his own career as a fashion and sneaker designer and entrepreneur, in 2022 the pair suddenly broke up to shock fans in the early winter of 2024.
It seems as though Pippen began to feel undervalued and felt the relationship was starting to negatively affect her as she warned fans online to "choose wisely" in a cryptic post about how a partner impacts mental health, peace of mind and love within a person.
