Zayn Malik's sister, Waliyha, has posted a heartfelt message about her brother following his decision to reschedule several tour dates. The 26-year-old urged people to show kindness in light of Zayn's recent loss of former One Direction bandmate Liam Payne, who tragically died on October 16 after falling from the third-floor balcony of his hotel in Argentina.
Accompanying a black and white photo of Liam with his arm around Zayn, she added a poignant message. Waliyha wrote: "Give respect to Zayn, you don't know what he's going through. Today is a month since his brother has been gone."
This comes after Zayn announced on Instagram last Thursday that he needed to reschedule a series of dates due to "unforeseen circumstances." The 31-year-old former One Direction singer was set to begin his tour in Edinburgh, Scotland, on November 20 and 21, but has since postponed the shows.

Tickets for both concerts will now be valid for a month from now in December, although the singer did not specify why exactly he needed to change the dates.
The 'Dusk Till Dawn' hitmaker informed his 54 million followers: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, Zayn 'Stairway To The Sky' Edinburgh show originally scheduled for the 20th of November has been rescheduled for 8th of December. And the Edinburgh show for the 21st of November has been rescheduled to the 9th of December.", reports the Mirror.
In the wake of a tragic turn of events, Zayn's US tour has been pushed back due to the devastating loss of his close friend and former bandmate. The shocking death investigation has led to three arrests so far.
Zayn had planned to initiate his tour in San Francisco, taking it through to New York, and later starting the UK leg in Edinburgh, capping off in Manchester.
Taking to Instagram amid the upheaval, Zayn shared with his fans: "Given the heartbreaking loss experienced this week, I've made the decision to postpone the US leg of the STAIRWAY TO THE SKY Tour. The dates are being rescheduled for January and I'll post them as soon as it's all set in the next few days. Your tickets will remain valid for the new dates. Love you all and thank you for your understanding."
Meanwhile, Liam's family is caught in heartache as they await his funeral following a prolonged three-week period before his body was released back to the UK. His father Geoff flew to Argentina immediately after receiving the harrowing news and stayed until he could accompany his son back home.
