Liam Payne’s friend, a hotel employee and an alleged drug dealer have reportedly been charged in connection to the former One Direction singer’s death.
The friend — an Argentine businessman who allegedly presented himself as Payne’s manager but was not — is being accused of abandonment of a person after he allegedly failed to respond to CasaSur Palermo Hotel’s calls about Payne’s erratic behavior.
The pal allegedly tried to come forward as a witness for authorities, claiming he had been at the hotel at the time of Payne’s death. However, some employees said they never saw him.
This friend allegedly also concealed from Payne’s family that the singer had relapsed.
The hotel employee — who has since been fired from CasaSur Palermo — and the alleged dealer have been accused of facilitating Payne with the drugs that were found in his system at the time of his death.
