Give us a moment while we mourn Lily Allen and David Harbour’s marriage. In case you missed it, the pair have called it quits after four years of marriage, with insiders saying to People: “Her marriage has been crumbling and they have split….[It’s been] very hard for her and her girls.” And now, many are wondering: what will happen to their iconic, weird and colorful New York townhouse now that they’ve broken up?
For those who don’t know, back in 2020, when they were newlyweds, they decided to buy a 19th-century Italianate brownstone, and truly made it their own. Located in Brooklyn’s leafy Carroll Gardens enclave, they made a colorful haven with architect Ben Bischoff and designer Billy Cotton.

Covered in vibrant, floral wallpapers in every room, topped with crystal chandeliers, odd portraits, and more. This home became a hit on everyone’s Pinterest boards. (Plus, it had so many amenities like a gated backyard with a sauna, walk-in closets, long bookshelves, and more.)
They made it a “weird and wonderful” home filled with colorful decor, themed rooms, and eccentric additions, per Realtor, and now, many are wondering what will happen to the home now that they’ve split up.
Well, both of them have properties elsewhere. Allen invested in a Notting Hill property back in Nov 2024, and Realtor also reported that Harbour may still have his New York City apartment he had before marrying Allen.
So while both of them have other properties, it’s still unknown which one of them will keep this one.
