Lindsay Lohan’s dad, Michael Lohan, was arrested for assault after allegedly getting physical with his estranged wife, Kate Major, Page Six can confirm.
The 64-year-old was charged with “continuous violence against the family” and taken into custody in Texas on Saturday, a spokesperson for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office told us.
We’re told that Major was at a doctor’s appointment when Michael was spotted in the parking lot of the building and officers were called.
Major, 42, filed a report with responding officers, claiming that her estranged husband had flipped her out of a chair a few days before.
She complained of pain and discomfort, and a female deputy confirmed Major had bruising.
Michael is currently being held on $30,000 bond.
Reps for Lindsay and Michael weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.
Michael and Major tied the knot in 2014 but have been estranged since 2018 when she filed for divorce after being arrested for domestic battery.
At the time, Major requested full custody of their sons Landon and Logan.
Michael, meanwhile, shares Lindsay with his ex-wife, Dina Lohan, to whom he was married from 1985 to 2007.

Over the years, Michael and Major have had several run-ins with the law, with Michael being arrested in 2020 for allegedly being “physically abusive” to Major.
In June 2024, the cops also got involved during a heated confrontation between the exes.
At the time, Major shared a since-deleted video via Instagram of herself and Michael fighting outside their home.
The clip showed Michael standing in front of Major’s car to prevent her from driving away before police arrived.
Major was then heard telling officers that Michael needed to be admitted into a psychiatric unit.
Michael later took to Facebook to defend himself, alleging Major was “drunk.”
