Blackpink's Lisa is gearing up for the release of her debut solo studio album, Alter Ego.
The 15-track offering includes features from Doja Cat, Future, Megan Thee Stallion, Tyla, Rosalía, and Raye.
The Thai artist, whose given name is Lalisa Manobal, has been a member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink since 2016.
The K-pop quartet released its first album, titled The Album in 2020, followed by 2022’s Born Pink. Blackpink recently announced its 2025 World Tour, a 13-date stadium tour with shows in East Asia, North America, and Europe.
In addition to her feature on Lisa's album, Megan Thee Stallion is making another foray into the K-pop world. The Houston native is slated to star in Apple TV+’s forthcoming show, Kpopped.
According to Variety, “In each episode, western icons reimagine one of their biggest hits, collaborating with top-tier K-pop idols to deliver spectacular battle performances, with a live Seoul-based audience picking the winner of the best new K-popped song.”
In addition to starring in the show, Meg will serve as an executive producer and perform her chart-topping song, “Savage.”
