A car expert has just revealed several lesser-known facts about your vehicle that may astonish you.
This includes an insight into the fuel gauge icon that has blown minds online, prompting questions such as "Why don't you learn things like this in your driving lessons?"
The driving whizz, known on social media as @Chequanxiaoqiao, illuminated followers by stating: "Many people don't know about these hidden functions in the car until their car is scrapped" so it's time to listen up and discover a thing or two about your vehicle.
In one of her enlightening nuggets, she pointed out that the sun visor is designed to shield you from glare not only from ahead but can be swivelled to the side for those days when the sun decides to dazzle you from an angle.
Joining the club of motorists who dread the petrol station trip is pretty common. The hassle can often lead to forgetting which side to fill up on, causing unnecessary flusters and the awkward stretch of the petrol hose over the car.

For those carting around young ones, she divulged a child-proofing secret: simply twist the key in the rear doors to "activate the safety lock", safeguarding children by preventing them from opening the doors from inside, meaning adults must assist their exit.
