Lorraine Kelly forced to apologise as ITV show 'rudely interrupted' live on air

2 weeks ago 7

Lorraine Kelly needed to apologise mid-show after the broadcast was "rudely interrupted" by an annoying sound.

The ITV star had been chatting to her co-star about all things television and the upcoming Strictly Come Dancing final that will air this weekend, telling fans: "I just can't call it, my heart is saying Chris (Mccausland) but I just don't know it could be any one of them, they're all so good."

It was at this point a text message type sound could be heard live on-air, the bleep didn't just happen once but three times before Lorraine picked up her phone from her pocket to quickly flip it to silent. The show fell to a natural halt as Lorraine shut down the device.

Unable to hide her blushes, she admitted to viewers: "Ohh that's my phone going off, apologies everyone for that," as she delved back into conversation about this week's TV agenda again.
