Television presenter Lorraine Kelly was flooded with compliments from viewers after sharing a photo of her outfit from her eponymous daytime talk show last week. The 64-year-old, who recently became a grandmother, looked ‘amazing’ in a trendy bodycon skirt from the high street - a style loved by one of her ITV co-workers.
The Scottish host stepped onto screens last week wearing a Beige Floral Mesh Midi Skirt from River Island. And fans couldn’t stop praising her look, hailing it as ‘lovely’ and ‘very stylish’.
One comment on her Instagram post read: “This is a great combo - colours really suit,” another added, “Lorraine you look amazing and very stylish,” while a third penned, “Lovely skirt Lorraine you look so beautiful as always.”

The midi skirt comes in at £30, and is made from a figure-hugging mesh fabric, featuring an all over rose. It comes in sizes 6-18, and despite being popular with Lorraine’s followers, is still available in all sizes.
Unfortunately, River Island’s website doesn’t have any reviews from shoppers, which can sometimes make ordering online a bit of a gamble. But some of Lorraine’s Facebook followers actually own the skirt, and commented on her post: “I have that skirt it's beautiful,” with another chipping in: “I’ve got this skirt and sleeveless top but now know I can put this colour of cardigan or jumper with it.”
While the mum-of-one paired hers with a cashmere cardigan in an autumnal mulberry hue, others may like to team the skirt with the matching Beige Floral Mesh Ruched Top for £28. Together, the whole outfit costs less than £60 and gives the illusion of a dress - or the top and skirt can be worn separately with other pieces already in your wardrobe.
The co-ord is something we can definitely see This Morning’s Josie Gibson sporting, having worn very similar styles from River Island previously. Could it be possible Lorraine even took her style cues from the Bristolian beauty?
If you’re more interested in Lorraine’s cosy knit, though, we’ve found her exact match online - though it’s not as affordable as her skirt. The star wore the Cashmere Long Sleeve Cropped Cardigan from Brora Fashion, which comes in at £345. Made from Scottish cashmere, the knit is in the perfect shade for this season, and was a great pick to pair with the skirt, which really brought out the tones in the design.
If you’re looking for a more affordable option, though, Marks and Spencer has this Pure Cashmere Crew Neck Cardigan for £89 in multiple colours, while Boden also has the £120 Eva Cashmere Cropped Cardigan.
