Many believe the festive season is a time for weight gain – but you could actually lose a stone before Christmas.

According to TikTok sensation Lauren Scully, known as @leanwithlaurenx, it can be achieved with some clever food swaps. She insists that indulging in delicious meals doesn't have to be off the menu.

Lauren has shared her top tips for shedding pounds before the holiday season, suggesting that making smart food choices can lead to significant weight loss. Her advice comes just in time for those looking to improve their health before the festivities begin.

In a recent video, Lauren revealed how simple dietary changes can make a big difference, claiming that you can "lose a stone before Christmas" by focusing on easy food substitutions.

Lauren explained: "This is another example of what 1,600 calories looks like, and this is for a person that doesn't really have time to meal prep. For breakfast, we're going in with this high protein Cookie Chocolate Crisp. This has less than 400 calories girls, and over 30 grams of protein. Look at that - unreal."

For lunch, Lauren's choice was a homemade tomato soup paired with brown bread, emphasising that carbs shouldn't be feared when trying to slim down. She also suggested adding cooked chicken to the soup for an extra protein boost, which can help keep hunger at bay for longer.

For dinner, the health enthusiast recommended a jacket potato as an excellent choice, explaining she enjoys hers with a topping of chicken stir-fry mix. She highlighted that this particular meal totals just over 400 calories, ensuring it's a satisfying dinner without the heaviness.

When it comes to snacking, she suggested people can go for what they fancy, but she prefers getting a bit of protein in one of the snack options. She often opts for a protein pudding pot or eats fruits like kiwis for a sweet fix.

Lauren stated: "Eating foods like this all the way up to Christmas will help you lose that stone."

If you're curious about how to whip up these delicious recipes, Lauren frequently posts them on her TikTok profile. The essence of her message is clear - by concentrating on consuming balanced, wholesome meals throughout the day, you can keep hunger at bay and feel satisfied after your meals.

Adopting healthier adaptations of beloved recipes is a good strategy for managing cravings, making the dieting experience far less daunting. Remember, working towards a toned and slimmer physique can be an enjoyable experience with a bit of dedication.
