Earlier in the afternoon on Monday, Lottie shared footage from the window of a car travelling down a motorway as she penned a heartbreaking message about Liam. She wrote: "Home with a heavy heart. Rest in peace, Liam, you were loved by so many and will be so greatly missed. Sending so much love to everyone." Mike Marsland/WireImage)Louis previously shared a heartbreaking statement about Liam's shock death at the age of 31. The singer wrote online: "I am beyond devastated to be writing this but yesterday I lost a brother. Liam was somebody I looked up to everyday, such a positive, funny, and kind soul."
He added: "I first met Liam when he was 16 and I was 18, I was instantly amazed by his voice but more importantly as time went on I got a chance to see the kind brother I’d longed all my life for. Liam was an incredible song writer with a great sense of melody, we often spoke of getting back in the studio together to try and recreate the writing chemistry we had built up in the band."
He added: "And for the record, Liam was in my opinion the most vital part of One Direction. His experience from a young age, his perfect pitch, his stage presence, his gift for writing. The list goes on. Thank you for shaping us Liam."

Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain Awards celebrates its 25th anniversary as we recognise those extraordinary people who continue to make our country a very special place to live. Dozens of huge stars, from Oscar winners to chart-toppers and world champions, will celebrate the extraordinary achievements of winners, including awe-inspiring children of courage, fundraisers, campaigners and lifesavers as they come together to make the occasion.
They may be there in big numbers to show their support, but the stars are not big names from showbiz, TV, film, music and sport. Instead, the celebrities are the ones doing the applauding as they pay tribute to unsung heroes from communities across the UK.
Hosted by Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo, the awards celebrate the achievements of truly remarkable people who make our world a better place and inspire others. The duo became close after the former Countdown presenter met Ashley's brother, Jordan, in the I'm A Celebrity jungle in 2016.
