Love Island's Scott Thomas' and Tina Stinnes' romance history as they recouple nine years after 'first date'

2 hours ago 2

Love Island All Stars has seen its first dumping of the 2025 season as India Reynolds was the first islander to leave the villa in last night's episode.

The 34-year-old was left single after a recoupling round the firepit on Sunday night saw bombshell Tina Stinnes choose to couple up with Scott Thomas who had previously been coupled up with India.

Scott and Tina have quite the history on the ITV dating show, having first met back in 2016 when they both starred on season 2 of the show.

Nine years ago, the pair were very flirty with one another, despite Scott being coupled up with his ex-girlfriend Kady McDermott at the time and it seems history is repeating itself once more as the Manchester lad told India he was keeping his options open with Tina.

Tina, 29, chose Scott as one of her three dates upon entering the villa with the pair exchanging playful conversation about their last encounter.

The bombshell beauty said: "Second time's a charm" as a surprised Scott arrived, replying: "Oh my god I did not expect that!"

As they caught up, Tina said: "I had to try again! I’m a little bit thrown, it was 8 years ago!" to which Scott responded: "I’ve always been intrigued by you cause we didn’t get our chance last time, you were always my original type…"

OG islanders Scott and Tina famously went on their first date back in 2016 when Scott was partnered up with Kady.

The now 36-year-old immediately caught TIna's eye on her first Love Island stint almost a decade ago and she chose to take him out on a date, which went down like a lead balloon with his then-girlfriend Kady, who hurled brutal insults at the pair as they left the villa.

Kady furiously referred to Tina, then 21, as a 'Made in Chelsea' reject after she appeared on the e4 show in 2014.

Despite Scott and Tina getting on well, Kady was still very much on Scott's mind so he and Tina decided to remain just friends.

Scott and Kady went on to go all the way to the final, finishing up in third place while Tina was dumped on day 40 after Adam Maxted chose to couple up with Katie Salmon instead.

Kady and Scott went on to date for a year outside of the villa before calling things quits in 2017 when their relationship came to a bitter end over a drunken feud.

According to the Mirror, an insider close to the couple shared what went down between them, revealing: "Kady was furious when Scott came into the house drunk. They had a huge row and it got out of hand with some pushing and shoving.

"Kady called the police and Scott spent the rest of the night in a cell. It was blown out of proportion and they were both really embarrassed the next day.

"Scott's behaviour was a complete one off, he's not like that at all. It was just a drunken row that got blown out of hand," said a source close to the couple."

And it seems Tina and Scott also never tried at a romance in the outside world after his relationship with Kady came to an end, meaning now may be their chance to give things another go.

However, fans have other ideas though as many of them are keen to see Kady, 29, re-enter the villa to stir things up again. Although this may be quite unlikely considering she made her Love Island comeback last year on the first season of All Stars.

Speaking to Closer about a possible reunion with Kady in the villa, Scott admitted he doesn't know how he would react.

He said: "We have not crossed paths in five years, maybe longer, like literally haven't seen each other. There might have been an odd message about three years ago, but literally, haven't seen her.

"It didn’t end in the best way possible. I don't know how I would be if I saw her. I don't know how she would be if she saw me. That's the honest truth.

"I don't have any bad energy towards her, but it didn't end well. It’s like a weird part of your life that's kind of been closed off and you haven't ever revisited it, so it would be interesting and a special moment, I'm sure."

Love Island All Stars continues tonight on ITV at 9pm.
