The boyfriend of former Love Island star Shaughna Phillips has been granted an early release from his nine year prison sentence.

Phillips, 30, had embarked on a relationship with with Webb, 29, back in 2020, with the couple announcing that they were expecting their first child together in October 2022.

However, just months later, Webb was arrested in January 2023, following a drug raid.

Webb later admitted to conspiracy to supply 4.5kg of cocaine (valued at £360,000) and was sentenced to nine years in prison the following December, according to The Mirror.

Phillips would initially separate from Webb after his arrest and had been focusing on raising her daughter Lucia, now one, as a single mother. However, the pair have since rekindled their romance.

The former reality star confirmed Webb's release from prison, after serving 12 months of his nine year sentence, in a recent Instagram update and revealed to her followers that she is looking forward to the three of them spending their first Christmas together.

"If you had told me this time last year, that me and Billy would be taking Lucia to see Santa next Christmas, I probably wouldn’t have let myself believe you," she captioned the post, which featured a video of her daughter enjoying a trip to a festive grotto.

"The best couple of days, this Christmas is going to be so special."

Phillips had previously addressed the status of her relationship with curious followers via a series of Instagram Stories, including the reason why she doesn't post too often about her relationship with Webb.

Explaining that she doesn't want to 'give light to certain topics', Phillips explained (via Metro): "What's happened has happened and we move on with our life and deal with it the best we can.

"Thankfully that chapter of our story is soon going to be over. My relationship with Billy is one where I’m happy, secure and content, and that’s all I’ve ever wanted, and all I ever want for Lucia."

Addressing the reason why she doesn't post pictures of Webb's face, she added: "I don't share pictures of Billy's face because I'm not allowed to currently.

"Billy should be spending Christmas with us, and we can’t wait."

Phillips had previously opened up on what it was like to take her daughter to visit Webb in prison, explaining that it was a 'gut-wrenching position' to be in.

"The thing is, we're always going to be co-parents," she explained on her Oh Baby podcast. "I know that me and my dad had the best relationship ever, and to me, my dad is the best person in the world.

"And I don't want Lucia to think differently of her father. I would never, ever stop him from seeing her, ever."
