Two Love Island All Stars have quit the show in recent episodes - with one more set to leave the villa in the coming days - and a former winner has shared his thoughts

A Love Island champ has revealed why two Islanders have bowed out early from the latest series of All Stars.

The ITV2 hit, which kicked off three weeks ago, has already seen a couple of Islanders bid farewell to the villa in South Africa, sparking worries that more might bail before the grand final looms.

Scott Thomas, 36, was the first to call it quits in Sunday's episode, admitting he thought it was the "right time" after he couldn't find love. Then, in Monday night's show, fans watched Ron Hall, 27, throwing in the towel as he confessed: "What chance is that right person gonna walk through the door."

News of Ron's swan song broke before viewers saw his goodbye, and Love Island victor Kai Fagan, 26, didn't shy away from voicing his opinion ahead of the episode on Insta.

He rolled out a video message on the 'gram earlier on Monday. Kai — who penned in his caption that his intel was solely from reports — declared: "I've just seen that Ron's left the villa. Obviously this comes a day after Scott's left it. But what I want to add is - I rate how genuine they've both been. How they've both been able to identity that that's not the place where they're gonna find worthwhile connections."

He told his fans: "Although this would have been a tough decision for them, they've thought 'y'know what, sack this, sack the clout. I don't care. I'm being real to myself and I'm going'. And that's what I rate so much.", reports the Mirror.

Former Islander Kai, now set to marry fellow champ Sanam Harrinanan who he met on Love Island, labeled the villa the "loneliest place" for those "struggling to make a connection". He admitted that the experience leaves stars with only their thoughts and cut off from family and mates.

In the candid clip shared on Monday, he remarked: "Now believe me with this – if you're in that villa and you're struggling to make a connection with someone, you're struggling, you feel a bit out of place, it is the loneliest place you'll ever be. You have no connection to the outside world."

Kai elaborated: "You can't contact your friends. You can't contact your family. You don't even know what's happening. You just have to sit there in your thoughts. So to be able to remove yourself from that situation, it's the right thing to do if you just don't feel that it's right for you."

Rumour has it that two ex-Islanders bailed on All Stars before stepping foot in the villa this season. Word on the street is Scott van-der-Sluis, 24, bailed days prior to launch due to "various reasons," while Lucinda Strafford, 25, reportedly backed out after landing in South Africa.

In the wake of Scott and Ron's departure, ITV reportedly informed the Tab that Islanders have around-the-clock access to welfare support to aid in making such decisions. As previously stated, ITV released a statement saying: "Cast are told they should consider all the potential implications of taking part in the show and work through this decision-making process in consultation with their family and those closest to them, to ensure they feel it is right for them. A welfare team [is] solely dedicated to the Islanders both during the show and after."
