Madonna, 66, embraces autumn by eating soup completely topless

It is soup season, but Madonna just took things to the next level by posing topless as she slurped on a warming bowl in some new social media snaps.

The Like A Prayer hitmaker, 66, posted the racy snaps alongside various passages about healing and self discovery by writer and poet Brianna Wiest.

In one picture, the legendary singer – who is a hopeful for Glastonbury 2025 – can be seen plunging her spoon into some sort of beige-coloured soup topped with crunchy croutons, while wearing some crucifix earrings and a dramatic dangling silver necklace, with her hair knotted up in blonde plaits.

The star held a napkin over her bare chest as she tucked in, and did the same in the second picture, which sees the star lean in for a spoonful. As you do.

Alongside these pictures, Madonna tagged writer Wiest while copying her words to her Instagram story, which read: ‘Other people are not here to love us in the exact way we think they should.

‘They are here to set up a healing ceremony at which we learn how to love ourselves.’

A second passage said: ‘One day you will have to reinvent yourself outside of the shadow of what everyone else has asked you to be.

‘You will have to ask yourself who you are if you had no obligation to anyone else.

‘You will have to explore who you would become if you knew you were completely free, if you knew you would not be judged, if you knew that all the things you ever desired were simple on the other side of you stepping into who you already are – taking the essence of your soul and turning it into form.’

The Queen of Pop’s topless autumn comes after some fans attending her Celebration Tour earlier this year filed lawsuits accusing the mum-of-six ofsubjecting them to raunchy performances in sweltering conditions.

The lawsuit stated that Madonna, Live Nation and affiliated organisations ‘purposefully and deceptively’ withheld crucial concert information including the start time, according to documents obtained by The Blast.

The lawsuit continued that the Material Girl hitmaker demanded that the air-conditioning be turned off and told the crowd to take their clothes off if they were too hot.

She then ‘forced [them] to watch topless women on stage simulating sex acts.’

‘Forcing consumers to wait hours in hot, uncomfortable arenas and subjecting them to pornography without warning is demonstrative of Madonna’s flippant disrespect for her fans,’ the lawsuit stated.

Despite arriving at 8:30pm, the concert supposedly kicked off at 10pm.

This came after another complaint earlier in the year, in which two concert-goers said they ‘would not have paid for tickets’ had they known the concert would finish two hours late.

Madonna’s representatives and promoter Live Nation said a technical issue caused the delay.

The joint statement read: ‘The shows opened in North America at Barclays in Brooklyn as planned, with the exception of a technical issue December 13th during soundcheck.

‘This caused a delay that was well documented in press reports at the time. We intend to defend this case vigorously.’

It added the tour’s recent European leg had ‘received rave reviews’.

The tour celebrated Madonna’s incredible 40 years in the music industry, and was a career retrospective of her greatest hits.

While the Queen of Pop was back in full force after an initial delay due to a health scare, she faced ageism and sexism during an appearance at the Grammy Awards 2023 while introducing Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ Unholy performance.

Viewers took savage swipes at Madonna’s appearance, with the star having had cosmetic surgery on her face, and Piers Morgan was hit with backlash for a ‘spiteful’ post where he compared her get-up to a Halloween costume.

Madonna responded to the comments blaming ‘ageism and misogyny’ for the reason people ‘choose to only talk about close-up photos of me’ rather than the performance by Sam and Kim, who became the first openly trans woman to win a Grammy at the event.
