VIEWERS of Married at First Sight are set for "a dramatic and emotional night" as series nine reaches its finale.
The remaining couples Polly and Adam, Ross and Sacha, Nathan and Lacey and Amy and Luke will decide tonight whether they want to remain in a relationship or break-up and leave the experiment single.
It looks like it won't be a complete happy ending, as only half of the couples will say 'I do' at final vows, with a TV insider telling The Sun: "It’s very dramatic, emotional viewing."
The source added: "There are lots of tears and the outcome will surprise fans of the series."
The show returns again tonight on E4 at 9pm.

Remember when ...
Sacha and Ross had a discussion about her celibacy, and she admitted that she feared not kissing him at the altar would make him think she didn’t like him.
Revealing she’s been celibate for nine months, he says he appreciated her point of view and will take the sofa.
“When she’s ready she’s ready,” he said. “I’m not in a rush.
“I just can’t wait to spend more time with her.”
Ratings success
MAFS UK is a ratings success, averaging two million viewers per episode last year, thanks to the mix of high-stakes romance and awkward introductions.
Taking things slow… how Ross charmed Sacha
- Ross McCarthy, 32, a deaf former footballer and gym addict, tied the knot with Sacha Jones, 29.
- Both were hugely family-orientated, with Sacha hoping to find a man that would protect her like her dad does.
- The pair got on well, though things got awkward around the conversation of intimacy, with Sacha revealing she was nine months celibate and feared Ross would want to share a bed with her.
- They also only pecked on the cheek at the altar, as she found it too strange to kiss a man she only just met on the lips (fair).
- However, he ticked all her boxes by being a fire star sign (Sagittarius) just like the rest of her family, and he offered to sleep on the sofa.

After arriving on their honeymoon, Eve and Charlie found themselves repeatedly in rows, especially over their sleeping arrangements.
Polly and Adam - a reminder

- Barber Adam, 33, made no secret he was looking for nothing short of perfection in his wife – preferably someone who looked like Michelle Keegan or, failing that, Megan Fox.
- Viewers branded him ‘delusional‘ for aiming so high.
- Polly, 28, admitted she just wanted her husband to think she was pretty – and appeared delighted at Adam when she met him.
- However, he made no secret he wasn’t impressed, telling people at the reception (including her best mate Alfie) that was “not 100% there, as she’s not his usual type as he goes for petite brunettes”.
- Alfie later relayed this information to a gutted looking Polly, who is now second guessing what lies ahead.
- Meanwhile, Adam got a talking to from his mate, who told him Polly was a good looking girl and their personalities matched, so he needed to give her a better chance.
