Moving on up! Tori Spelling‘s living situation sure has improved after spending the summer of 2023 living out of a RV, as she and her five kids have moved into a $12,000 per month rental home in upscale Calabasas, California.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 51, is now residing in a 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom home. It’s a far cry from the 56,000-square-foot mansion featuring 14 bedrooms that she grew up in, thanks to her late TV producer mogul dad, Aaron Spelling, and mom, Candy Spelling.
The white home with a red tile roof includes a spacious backyard pool and patio area, as well as a second story in the back of the house. It sits on a smaller lot, with homes on either side blocked by trees, in photos obtained by The Daily Mail.
Tori’s fortunes have turned for the better since she was forced to move out of her toxic mold-riddled rental home in May 2023. The Stori Telling author and her five children she shares with ex-husband Dean McDermott ended up living in a $100 a night Hollywood motel in July 2023, which she defended as doing what was best for her family at the time.
“Are you a parent? You know you would do whatever you can for your kids, right?” the former reality star responded to a TMZ cameraman when asked about her living situation as she left a San Fernando Valley Target store on July 17, 2023. At the time, she and Dean had secretly separated, although the former chef posted then took down a post the month prior stating they had split.
By early August 2023, Tori and her kids — Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau — were photographed living out of an RV at a beachside Ventura County, California, campground.
“As long as we have each other …” the So Notorious star wrote via Instagram on August 10, 2023. The post included photos of Tori and her kids spending time in the RV and on the beach.
Tori later claimed they were simply taking a pre-school year road trip and that daughter Stella, 16, was shamed for being “homeless” when she returned to classes in September 2023.
“My daughter is like, ‘People already talk about us at school. They know you and they know the family and they read the press,’” Tori told listeners during the debut episode of her “Misspellings” podcast on March 31.
“She had someone come up to her at school and ask, ‘Are you in the school district, or where does your RV park? Because you live in an RV with your mom, right?’” she continued about Stella.
“We rented that like every other family and drove up the coast and camped and they were like, ‘Oh, we thought you were homeless,’” Tori claimed Stella’s classmates told her when she returned to school.
By February, the Mother May I Sleep With Danger star had moved into a fully furnished $15,000 per month rental home in Woodland Hills, California. The actress was accused of leaving it trashed, with furniture and other items reportedly left on the street when she moved out in June.
“Let’s just say I doubt she’ll be getting her security deposit back,” one neighbor told The Daily Mail on June 11.
“The smell of urine is everywhere, on the couch cushions and inside the home. There are marks all over the walls, from who knows what,” the person added. “It’s completely trashed. Just look at the big dumpster they had to bring in. It’s been filled up several times since she moved out on June 1.”
