Ever since setting foot in Christian Dior HQ, Maria Grazia Chiuri has commissioned many female photographers to capture the brand’s various campaigns. Subsequent to MGC’s debut season in Spring 2017, female talents like Brigitte Lacombe. Paola Mattioli, Alice Mann, Collier Schorr, and more recently Sarah Jones have been called upon to capture Dior’s campaign imagery. Make no mistake Brigitte Niedermair is a firm fave of Maria Grazia Chiuri as Christian Dior creative director. Nierdermair is back (once again), this time for the Christian Dior Cruise 2025 season campaign offering. Ali Dansky, Jiali Zhao, Sanija Dalecka, and Tanya Churbanova become the faces of the collection, which was presented in Scotland back in June. Throughout the campaign, the girls gaze down Nierdermair’s lens and pose against a pale gold backdrop.
Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“I like the blurry background. That’s all,” voiced FashionFanatico upon checking out the campaign.
“It’s like almost there… but not good. It has components to be good and then it all is just a bit meh,” chimed in forum member Kite.
Sharing the same sentiments toward the campaign was reese06. “Everything is disjointed and nothing is working together. This doesn’t evoke any emotion and might as well be a catalog. Awful,” they stated.
Frederic01 wasn’t best impressed either, commenting: “Dior had the opportunity to photograph this collection on location in Scotland. Instead, they chose a studio with a mustard-yellow backdrop? Why!”
“Admittedly, some shots are more superior than others. However, this is just another fine example displaying the level of mediocrity we’ve come to expect from Maria Grazia Chiuri at Christian Dior. There’s just zero sense of life, energy or luxury radiating from this campaign imagery. Such a snoozefest after that spectacular display at Drummond Castle!” exclaimed vogue28.
