Billionaire Mark Cuban has suggested he is taking a hiatus from talking about politics after Donald Trump won the election.
"Just an FYI. Don't expect any politics or speculation about what might happen for a while. I'm sure there will be plenty to comment on when the time comes," he wrote on the social media platform Bluesky on Tuesday.
Cuban, a partial owner of the Dallas Mavericks and former Shark Tank investor, had been an active champion of Vice President Kamala Harris on the campaign trail. He was also an outspoken critic of Trump in the lead-up to the election, describing him as a "threat" with "fascist tendencies."
"In a normal world, the two parties would get together and say, 'Let's just stop this name-calling, right? Let's just focus on the issues,'" Cuban previously told ABC News' This Week co-anchor Jonathan Karl.
"But this is not a normal world. Donald Trump is not a normal candidate. And I think it's not a stretch to call Donald Trump a fascist."
Newsweek reached out to Cuban via email.
Cuban was quick to congratulate Trump on his election win, writing on X, formerly Twitter, that he had won "fair and square," even before the race had been officially called.
Cuban also congratulated Trump's billionaire supporter Elon Musk for the victory, who he suggested had an outsized influence on the election.
Cuban had previously stated that the election was not between the two presidential candidates, but actually between Harris and Musk.
Since Trump's victory, Cuban has begun posting on Bluesky, a platform that was originally created by then-Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and is now under different leadership, which is a rival to X.
Cuban posted "Hello Less Hateful World" on Bluesky in an apparent dig at X, which is owned by Musk and has been criticized for becoming an increasingly right-wing platform under his ownership.
Cuban also posted on X appearing to troll other users of the platform, writing: "How to drive @X users crazy."
Bluesky said it has seen an uptick in new users joining in the week since the election.
Following the election, Cuban also appeared to delete several of his pro-Harris posts on X.
In response, Cuban explained on X: "I've always gone back and deleted tweets. For years. Same with 2020 election. 2016 election. Same with other stuff. You can use the wayback machine if you really want to see them."
