Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Lauren Sanchez, the fiancée of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, sat together at President Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday and a moment from the event between them seemed to capture people's attention.
A photo shared by the Daily Mail seemed to show Zuckerberg staring at Sanchez's chest. Videos posted on social media made it clear that it was a mere glance.
Newsweek reached out to Meta via email for comment on Monday.
Why It Matters
Zuckerberg was among several tech leaders who attended Trump's swearing-in ceremony Monday afternoon, and he had his wife Priscilla Chan by his side. Sanchez, a former journalist, came to the inauguration with her fiancé Bezos wearing a laced bustier underneath a tailored single-breasted white blazer with cross-over lapels from Alexander McQueen. Her outfit stunned people with Summer Anne Lee, a presidential fashion historian and professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology, telling Newsweek, "I gasped when I saw it!"
What To Know
The Daily Mail said Zuckerberg was "busted over inappropriate act" with Sanchez after a freeze-frame appeared to show Zuckerberg staring at Sanchez's chest.
A video of the interaction shared on X, formerly Twitter, showed Zuckerberg quickly looking down at Sanchez and then away from her.
