Butter yellow was one of spring's biggest colour trends last year, and it's back again this time around. One brand getting in on the trend is Marks & Spencer.

They have really stepped their fashion game up over the past few years, so it's no surprise they've just dropped a gorgeous buttery yellow collarless blazer that looks designer.

Brands like Jacquemus and Aligne have previously launched pale yellow blazers, with Aligne's collarless one going pretty viral amongst the fashion girls last year. And M&S' one rivals those for a fraction of the price.

The M&S Tailored Collarless Blazer retails for £69, and offers a flattering, streamlined shape helping to create a beautiful silhouette around the waist. The collarless design also helps to add a feminine touch to the often androgynous tailoring trend. As we head into warmer temperatures (hopefully!), this creamy yellow shade will help brighten up your workwear wardrobe.

We think this piece will be a great addition to your officewear, especially paired with some white trousers and ballet flats. This blazer can definitely be dressed down for more casual days by styling it with a pair of straight-leg denim jeans or with a silky slip midi skirt for formal, non-work-related events.

The beauty of butter yellow is that it is a universally flattering colour. Even if you think this tone won't work for you, we think you should try it out.

One thing to note with this blazer is that it runs small, so we recommend sizing up from your usual, and even if sizing up two times from your usual, if you want more of a relaxed fit.

Abercrombie & Fitch has a similar butter yellow collarless blazer, available for £90. And Reserved has a more Chanel-inspired cropped version with pearl button detailing, available to shop for £32.99.
