A Married At First Sight UK star is pregnant with a miracle baby.
Jess O'Connor, also known as Jess Potter has taken to social media to reveal to fans that after three failed stages of IVF and four heartbreaking losses, she is now pregnant. It comes after the star launched a GoFundMe page last year to help her raise £10,000 to undergo her latest round of IVF.
Jess, a dental hygienist asked fans to help her raise the huge sum of money in order to help her undergo the process. On her Instagram page in view of her 47,300 followers, the star shared a tearful video of her sharing the news that she and her partner Tom were expecting their first child together.
The clip sees an emotional Tom deliver the news to Jess who instantly leaps into his arms with excitement as they celebrate their news together. Meanwhile, another clip sees her revealing the news to relatives who couldn't contain their excitement as they covered their mouths in shock.
Captioning her upload, Jess penned: "After almost 3 years, 3 failed IVF cycles, 4 losses, and hundreds of injections… Our journey has been filled with heartache, hope, and resilience. But today, we’re overwhelmed with gratitude to share with you. Our miracle babe arriving July 2025! This little heartbeat is proof that dreams do come true, no matter how long the road may be.
"Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. For anyone still waiting, we see you, and we're holding space for your story. With love, Jess & Tom. A special mention to @fertilysis whom without none of this would be real." Her post which has been liked over 10,000 times was soon flooded with celebratory messages.
"I've watched this about 100 times now and I still have a little tear in my eye! We love you guys and can't wait for Baby O'Reilly to arrive. Love you our little mama bear," said one person. A second added: "I've never been happier for someone I don't know! Such amazing news." Meanwhile a third went on to write: "This is proof that you can not give up on what you want in life. Dreams to come true... Congrats you both it's truly a special time for you guys."
Her Married At First Sight co-star Tayah Victoria-Aveling commented: "Omg Jess this gave me goosebumps and tears to my eyes!! Couldn’t be happier for you, what a journey you've been on!" "People like you and the emotion I'm seeing is the reason I've donated my eggs. Knowing I can help people like yourselves makes me so emotional," said another person.
Jess and her fiancé Tom had previously spent a staggering £15,000 on IVF, undergoing three rounds and tragically losing three babies. At the time of launching her GoFundMe, Jess said: "All I've ever wanted is to be a mum and this has been the hardest two years of my life. It's drained the life out of me and the fact the money is causing another strain is heartbreaking."
