Martin Scorsese took a crash course in beauty routines from his daughter, and the results are comedy gold.

The 81-year-old filmmaker was featured in his 24-year-old daughter Francesca's "Get Ready With Me" video posted to TikTok on Saturday, November 9, and offered plenty of comments along the way as he playfully narrated her routine.

In the clip, Francesca started with skincare while Scorsese jumped right in with his observations. From the get-go, the Hollywood icon exclaimed how the video was going too fast.

As his daughter applied concealer under her eyes, around her nose, and on her chin, the legendary director, seemingly puzzled, declared, "She's painting her face." After blending in the product, he quipped, "It looks like clown face... Patting, a great deal of patting going on."

The commentary continued as Francesca moved on to her eyebrows, Scorsese raising his own at the application.

"Oh? That's for eyebrows?" he asks, as she darkens them. "I don't know if she needs to do that," he adds, unsure about the whole process.

Concern struck as Francesca moved on to her eyelashes. Scorsese, alarmed, said, "Ah, my god, she's taking her eye out! Oh my god, stop that. Oh my god," as she curled her lashes. Francesca can be heard in the audio responding, "You told me I did too much," as she lined her lips, to which he replied, "Yeah, that is too much, I'm afraid."

Finally Francesca pulled out some lip gloss, to which Scorsese confidently responded,"That, you can't fool me, is nail polish."

Fans loved the video, and were quick to let the young social media personality know. "He had some notes for you I'm crying," said one user. Another noted, "that is the only correct reaction to eyelash curlers."

Others brought up Scorsese's brow critique, with one pointing out, "'Ok look she's darkening them, I don't know if she needs to do that' says the man blessed with the fullest eyebrows on earth😂💕." Another requested the two collab on another video, suggesting, "Ok now we need a 'my dad does my makeup' video."

Francesca is the only daughter of Scorsese and his fifth wife, producer Helen Morris, whom he married in 1999. Scorsese has two other daughters from previous marriages: Catherine, 58, whom he shares with his first wife and high school sweetheart, Laraine (m. 1965-1971), and Domenica, 48, from his second marriage to author Julia Cameron (m. 1976-1977). The Irishmen filmmaker was also married to actress Isabella Rossellini from 1979 to 1982 and producer Barbara De Fina from 1985 to 1991.
