Martin Scorsese is learning some beauty tricks.
The legendary filmmaker, 81, hilariously narrated his 24-year-old daughter Francesca’s “get ready with me” video on TikTok — and was totally baffled.
The nearly two-minute clip starts with the young content creator prepping her skin with skincare as Scorsese then begins making his best guesses as to what his daughter is doing with the products.
“She’s painting her face,” he says as Francesca applies Kosas concealer ($30) to her under eyes, around her nose and on her chin.
Once she blends the product in with a sponge, he comments, “It looks like clown face.” Patting, a great deal of patting going on.”
“Oh? That’s for eyebrows?” he questioned as Francesca brushed up her arches with a Chanel eyebrow pencil ($42). “Oh look, she’s darkening them. I don’t know if she needs to do that.”
Once she moves on to curling her lashes, the “Goodfellas” director jokingly shows his concern. “Ah, my god, she’s taking her eye out! Oh my god, stop that. Oh my god.”
Francesca, who is with her father while he narrates the video, chimes in, saying, ” You told me I did too much,” as she lines her lips.
Looking slightly stressed, he responds, “Yeah, that is too much, I’m afraid.”
Near the end, when she pulls out her Fenty Beauty lip gloss ($21), the Academy Award-winning director is convinced she’s actually putting a toxic product on her lips. “That, you can’t fool me, is nail polish.”
Scorsese finishes the video by noting, “You kids are crazy. I swear.”
One user sarcastically commented, “Your dads funny, he should make movies”
Another is on board with the 81-year-old’s social media appearance, writing, “Seeing martin scorsese on TikTok will literally never get old.”
Scorsese shares the 24-year-old with his fifth and current wife, producer Helen Morris.
An NYU Tisch School of the Arts grad, Francesca is known for her viral TikToks, the practical jokes she plays on her dad, as well as her cameos in his films like “The Departed” and “Hugo.”
