Matthew McConaughey embraces Latin American Christmas tradition with wife Camila Alves: 'Here we go!'

Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves McConaughey had a great family moment celebrating Christmas with their kids. The celebrity couple spent some quality time at their home in Texas, with Camila making a delicious Brazilian dish for their loved ones.

Camila shared a glimpse of their Christmas dinner on social media, proving that she loves to cook for her family. The Texas-born star can be seen in a clip showing his excitement for the food his wife is preparing, embracing a Brazilian tradition for Christmas Eve.

"Christmas Eve… we celebrated Brazilian tradition!" Camila shared on social media, with her Latin American followers commenting about the Brazilian twist on Stroganoff, which is known to be a Russian meal. 

 "It’s Russian, but very popular in Brazil," one person commented, while someone else wrote, "The Brazilian [dish] uses heavy cream, tomato sauce or ketchup, and a bit of mustard. They use different types of mushrooms and different spices too," adding, "Nothing like a good stroganoff brasileiro!"

"Even though Chicken Stroganoff is not a traditional Brazilian Christmas Eve food that’s all that my kids ask for!! it has now become an Alves McConaughey tradition!" she added, apologizing for not sharing more photos of the family moment. 

"I know you will ask, but Sorry I have no photos or videos of the table setting, I was too present with our family and prayers of gratitude around the table," she wrote on Instagram, sharing her love and appreciation for her family and wishing her fans and followers a happy holiday.

Camila can be seen focusing on her cooking, with many commenting on the large "Texan" pan she used to cook for the big family. "American tradition Christmas morning here we go!!! Merry Christmas!!!!" she wrote.
