Curtis Pritchard burst into the spotlight in 2017 when he joined the cast of RTE's Dancing with the Stars.
Brother of famous Strictly star AJ Pritchard, Curtis was part of the pro cast on the Irish version of the show for three seasons, partnering Thalia Heffernan, Norah Casey and Holly Carpenter.
However, his stardom really exploded when he appeared on the fifth season of Love Island in 2019. He came fourth place with reality TV icon Maura Higgins, however their romance was short-lived and they split up nine months later.
Now that Maura is taking on the jungle in this year's I'm A Celebrity, here is what her ex Curtis is up to.

Split with Maura Higgins
Curtis initially coupled up with Amy Hart on Love Island, but his head was turned in Casa Amor and a heartbroken Amy decided to quit the show.
Shortly after, viewers were shocked when Maura dropped the bombshell that she had a crush on Curtis. They coupled up together and came fourth in the final, which was won by Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea.
Sadly, things weren't meant to be for the pair and they called it quits in March 2020, while Maura was competing on Dancing on Ice.
The Longford lass wrote at the time: "Curtis and I have made the decision to separate. We enjoyed a great experience from our time in the villa and want to thank everyone for supporting our relationship.
"There is no easy way to get through a break up and no bad feeling on either side. We tried to make it work but it wasn’t to be, and I wish Curtis nothing but the best for the future."
Later on, Maura revealed the real reason she called time on her relationship to Curtis. She told The Sun: "I just felt like I'm 29 and I want somebody that I can see a future with. I'm not getting any younger.
"Curtis and I barely saw each other. At the beginning it was very, very hard because I was so besotted with him, and we never got to see each other."
Awkward reunion with Maura
Maura and Curtis had a rather awkward reunion on Love Island Games in 2023. Curtis was a contestant and Maura worked as the show's social media presenter, meaning she had to interview him when he was eliminated.
In a clip from the reunion, which was shared widely at the time, the former couple are seen standing awkwardly as they wait for the interview to commence.
Attempting to break the ice, Curtis enquires about Maura's family, but the conversation quickly stalls after she confirms they're "good."
The official interview then kicks off, with Maura introducing: "Hello everyone I'm now joined by our next Islander to leave the villa, who is the lovely Lisa's couple, Curtis."
Both Maura and Curtis share an awkward chuckle, before Maura quips: "Long time no see Curtis," causing her ex to visibly cringe.
Maura didn't hold back and suggested that Curtis was playing games with his partner Lisa Celander during their time together. "You were coupled up with Lisa, but you were clearly getting to know some of the other girls, there was a lot of flirting going on," she pointed out as Curtis looked away.
Curtis confessed he left the villa with "regrets," admitting he should have thought about recoupling with Justine Ndiba. Maura couldn't resist a cheeky dig at Curtis, turning to the camera to declare: "He still has no balls, guys! " To which Curtis responded, gesturing towards Maura, "And she would know! " leaving her in fits of giggles.
Career after Love Island
Curtis has enjoyed a career in media and performing arts following his stint on Love Island subsequent break-up with Maura.
He has appeared on numerous TV shows such as Celebrity SAS, worked as a choreographer on the first season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK and was one of the contestants on Celebs Go Dating in 2021 alongside stars such as Chloe Ferry, Wayne Lineker, Tom Zanetti and Karim Zeroual.
He even turned his attention to soapland, as he and brother AJ landed roles in E4's Hollyoaks, playing twins Jacob and Marco. On stage, Curtis has appeared in numerous pantos and tours in dance shows with AJ.
The Pritchard brothers also have a YouTube channel, with their content mainly dedicated to cars.
Split from dancer girlfriend
After dating Maura, Curtis struck up a relationship with dancer and actress Sophie Sheridan.
The couple first met during a panto production of Cinderella in 2021 and went Instagram official in the summer of 2024.
But Curtis recently revealed he is single once again during an Instagram Q&A with his fans.
He said: "I am now single. I won't go into too much detail with the whole situation, but I wish her all of the best in everything she is doing, but no, I am not with her. I am a single man right now."
