Fans of the Love Island host reckon Maya Jama and footballer Ruben Dias have gone Instagram official on the sly after noticing a familiar skirt in one of his photos

She's about to host a bunch of singles in the Love Island All Stars villa, but it seems Maya Jama herself is well and truly off the market.

Over the new year Love Island host Maya reportedly enjoyed a date with professional footballer Ruben Dias. She and the Manchester City player were spotted eating in an Ibiza restaurant on New Year's Eve.

And while Maya, who rarely speaks about her love life but recently mentioned her ex Stormzy, hasn't confirmed anything, she has at least acknowledged the rumours.

The 30-year-old responded to an X user who had attempted to mock her because of her apparent love life. She did not deny the claims, instead laughing it off with a laughing emoji and a shrugging emoji.

It came after Ruben posted a photo with Maya on Instagram – only hid her face. However, fans are certain it's her.

In the photo, Portuguese star Ruben, 27, can be seen hugging a mystery woman as they watch a sun set. The woman, who has her back to the camera, is wearing a long, camo print skirt, a black jacket and has dark hair.

Maya was seen wearing what appears to be the same skirt back in 2023. She wore the garment, which features a slit up the leg, to the birthday of former Vogue editor Edward Enninful.

In the Instagram snap, a small ankle tattoo is also visible on the woman. Similarly, Maya has an inking of a lion in the same place.

Fans of the footballer have been quick to comment asking who the girl is. Meanwhile, others have just posted GIFs of Maya in their comments.

The duo have reportedly been dating in private after meeting at the EMAs, where Maya wowed in a safety pin dress. According to The Sun, they swapped numbers at the event, which was held at Manchester's Co-op Live but "things went up a gear in early December".

A source told the publication: "When Ruben got injured and had to miss the congested new year fixtures, he jumped at the chance to see in 2025 with Maya in Spain. Spending New Year's Eve together was a real step forward in their relationship."
