McFly star Danny Jones broke down on I'm A Celebrity on Wednesday night, as he opened up on battling anxiety since he was a teenager - and his McFly bandmate Harry Judd has shared his unwavering support.
The singer and guitarist, 38, who is one of the favourites to win the ITV series, was comforted by his campmates as he shared how he once had a panic attack on live TV, opening up on his mental health struggles.
The All About You hitmaker explained the meaning behind his wrist tattoo, which reads ‘don’t worry, be happy’. Probed by Loose Women ’s Jane Moore and others about the inking, Danny explained his constant worries and how he was “working on” his issues before he broke down in tears.
After watching the emotional moment unfold on TV, Danny's bandmate Harry, 38, took to his Instagram stories to share his support for the I'm A Celebrity star. Harry reshared the clip to his stories, and alongside it, shared a number of love heart emojis to signify his support.
Before his pal entered the jungle, Harry insisted that Danny was undoubtedly going to be a favourite among viewers. “He’s going to be great I’m expecting big things from Danny he’s a very likeable individual he’s got that easy northern charm and he’s just great with people, always smiling, always laughing,” he gushed.
On Wednesday night's emotional episode, while taking about therapy and his emotions, Oti Mabuse and jungle co-star Tulisa Contostavlos both praised Danny for opening up. Speaking about his tattoo, Danny spilled: “It’s because I’m always constantly worrying, but that’s what I’m working on.”
Asked about therapy, Danny went on: “Yeah, I’ve been in therapy since I was 19 for anxiety.” It’s then that he detailed an on-air panic attack that left him “freaking out” during a televised interview. He revealed: “I was freaking out and I couldn’t answer the question that got asked to me. Heart rate goes crazy”.

As Danny broke down, Tulisa said in the Bush Telegraph: "We're seeing a lot of emotion coming out of Danny which is beautiful." Back in camp Danny then thanked his campmates, before apologising for crying. Tulisa said: "Rule number one, no apologising for crying in camp."
Danny then explained: "It's only when you get into it... I wanna be able to talk about it, every time I talk about it it's so much easier. But everything is heightened in here. I feel like a burden sometimes, like you don't wanna hear about my story, I felt it was so important to speak to someone."
