Meghan Markle's estranged half-sister, Samantha Markle, spoke out in despair, expressing shock at how the former actress appears to have "mocked" the Royal Family.
At age 60, Samantha has grown distant from Meghan, alleging that Meghan's union with Prince Harry has exerted pressure on their common relatives, including Samantha's mother Roslyn, who passed away early in October.
In her first public remarks since the loss, a tearful Samantha claimed: "Meghan has no idea what she is missing out on because when my dad (Thomas) goes, it will be too late. Believe me, I know. You can't get back that time. It leaves a hole in your heart."
She remarked poignantly on her distance from the Royals, saying: "I don't know the Royal family. I'm just a human, watching from across the pond, but I couldn't believe it... My dad doesn't want Meghan to pay him back.
"But you want love from them because there is a pain in your heart if it isn't there. I didn't want my mom to die feeling she was alone, and not loved. I almost left it too late. They could both learn from me."
The Markle family's inner turmoil gained worldwide attention upon Meghan's engagement to Harry, with reports suggesting a growing drift within the family. Now, Samantha fears for their father Thomas, 80, who has endured two heart attacks and a stroke in recent years, hinting that his time may be limited.
In recent years, Samantha Markle has voiced her pain over Meghan suggesting that Prince Harry's family was the big family she "never had". Yet, in a shocking move, the Duchess of Sussex abandoned her Royal duties in 2020, departing the UK for the United States with Harry merely two years post-wedding, reports the Mirror.
Meghan has since delivered damning interviews about the Royal Family and even reenacted a curtsey to the Queen in the couple's controversial Netflix docuseries in 2022.

Samantha, who is a mother to three, shared: "I never thought I would see Meghan do what she has done to the Royal Family. She's done what she did to her own family to so many other people, too. I knew my dad had suffered, but I thought she would stop at the Queen."
During her conversation with the Daily Mail, Samantha claimed Harry "allowed" his wife to "mock" the late monarch with this curtseying gesture.
Despite those tensions, it is reported that Meghan had a close relationship with Samantha while growing up. Samantha was born soon after Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, now 68, wed Thomas Markle.
In contemporary times, Samantha is hoping fervently for Meghan to reach out to their father, although her expectations are laced with skepticism.
"If you accept an olive branch, you are asking to be hurt again. I think that would be weird. It would be hard to trust that she was doing it for the right reasons. I think what makes me sad now is there were so many missed opportunities for love and real family," she concluded.
