Mel Gibson Backs Donald Trump And Launches Nasty Insult At Kamala Harris

Mel Gibson said Kamala Harris has “got the IQ of a fence post” in his impromptu endorsement of Donald Trump at an airport.

The controversial Oscar winner was all in for the Republican nominee when asked about the election in a clip shared by TMZ on Thursday.

“I don’t think it’s gonna surprise anyone who I vote for,” the actor-director said.

“I’m gonna guess Trump,” a cameraman replied. “Is that a bad guess?”

“I think that’s a pretty good guess,” Gibson answered.

Asked to imagine what a second term for Trump would be like, Gibson pivoted.

“I know what it’ll be like if we let her in,” he said. “And that ain’t good. Miserable track record. Appalling track record. No policies to speak of. She’s got the IQ of a fence post.”

Attacking Harris’ intelligence has been a go-to for adversaries, especially Trump, and “reeks of racism and sexism” to voters and experts, The Washington Post reported this week.

Not surprisingly, the former president expressed his gratitude to the “Lethal Weapon” actor earlier in the year. He shared a meme of two different images of Gibson with the caption “Me voting for Trump in 2016″ and “Me voting for Trump in 2024,” Newsweek reported at the time.

“Either way, Mel Gibson is GREAT,” Trump wrote.

Gibson’s drunken anti-Jewish rant at an L.A. cop in 2006 and recorded death threats and admitted striking of an ex-girlfriend after that badly tarnished his image. But he oddly got a shoutout from Robert Downey Jr. at an awards show earlier this year.
