Melania Trump's Office Responds to Shunning Jill Biden Meeting

1 month ago 2

Melania Trump's office on Wednesday responded to her declining an invitation to meet with first lady Jill Biden at the White House.

President-elect Donald Trump, Melania Trump's husband, is meeting President Joe Biden at the White House today to discuss a "peaceful and orderly transition" of power.

"Mrs. Trump will not be attending today's meeting at the White House. Her husband's return to the Oval Office to commence the transition process is encouraging, and she wishes him great success," Melania Trump's office said in a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter). "In this instance, several unnamed sources in the media continue to provide false, misleading, and inaccurate information. Be discerning with your source of news."

This is a developing story and will be updated when more information becomes available.
