Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga says that longtime viewers of the show will not want a complete cast overhaul if producers do move ahead with their plans to reboot the show.
“I think that they would want, especially, we come from a very like long-standing franchise with very familiar faces. I feel like they would need a few[returning faces],” she told Page Six.
Bravo execs have placed the show on hiatus until they decide whether to move forward with the old cast or recast an entirely new lineup.
“I understand them wanting to do a little like mix-up because it’s time, obviously. But I think they would need to keep a few familiar faces, and that’s on by. I don’t know who or what they decide, but I would suggest they kept a few familiar faces. I think it would be very tricky,” Melissa added.
Melissa’s beef with Teresa Giudice has been blamed for the show’s demise, and they both say they have no plans to reconcile to save the show.
