Metro Boomin found himself in a harrowing situation in Miami, Florida, when a yacht he rented reportedly burst into flames, per TMZ.

According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the luxury yacht arrived at a dock behind Booby Trap strip club around 3:30 in the morning and was engulfed in a fire about 15 minutes later. Local News 10 reports that someone smelled smoke coming from the ship, and employees of Booby Trap helped get 10 guests people off the boat, including Metro Boomin, and 5 crew members.

“Around 3 o’clock the boat arrived, it was Metro Boomin,” said Michael Marhefka, Director of Security at the Booby Trap on the River. “The boat pulled up and they were on the boat maybe 30 minutes at the dock and we noticed what sounded like fire alarms going off. When we looked at the boat we did see some smoke inside the boat. We made the determination to evacuate the boat immediately.”

Footage from the incident showed people standing near the wreckage, conducting interviews and partying. After the evacuation, firefighters fought the massive fire until the yacht sank into the Miami River at around 7 a.m.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Since the yacht is still tied to the dock, authorities are leaving it until they devise a plan to remove it.
