Hollywood legend Michael Douglas treated fans to a selfie of him and his grown up daughter Carys after a visit to her prestigious Ivy League college.
Carys, 21, who is the daughter of both Michael and Catherine Zeta Jones, has flown the nest to study Film and International Relations at Brown University. Posing for a selfie with an autumnal backdrop, Carys is seen smiling broadly for the camera while leaning her head against her dad's head, who looked as though he was bursting with pride.
The snap was taken over the weekend and he captioned his post saying: "Visiting my daughter Carys at school on a fall Sunday!" He accompanied the post with heart emoji. And Carys was quick to comment as she wrote: "I had the best time with you Dadda." On the back of his post fans rushed to the comment section. One fan said: "Awesome father-daughter photo!"
Another penned: "Carys looks like a mixture of you both. Beautiful girl" This is Michael's second marriage as he was previously married to Diandra Luker in 1977. The couple share one child together, named Cameron, who is 45. Michael and Diandra divorced in 2000.

Michael's eldest son has followed in his father's footsteps as he too is an actor. He starred alongside his father in the 2003 film It Runs In The Family.
In 2021, while on The Drew Barrymore Show, Catherine revealed that both Carys and Dylan are focused on an acting career. She said: "Their love of the craft of acting is so strong that even when their brains are doing politics and history in school, their passion is acting. And they've never done anything professional, but they would like to go into acting."
Michael has reportedly warned his daughter that if she goes into acting she will forever be known as the "daughter of." Catherine said: "In fact one has to prove oneself more, so even with that deterrent my kids are like, 'No, sorry we still want to do it.'" Back in July, it was reported that Michael and Catherine were selling their huge New York mansion for $18million - and the reason is down to the fact they were struggling with empty-nest syndrome.
Their New York home boasts eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. Back in 2013, the pair briefly separated but it seems divorce was never on the cards as Catherine finds the concept "repulsive." A source told New Idea: "Selling the house is a huge step. They're at a new life stage now." Catherine told The Wall Street Journal: "Now that both our son and daughter have left the nest it seems like the right time to sell. Michael and I plan to spend more time in Bermuda and Europe."
