Michael Jackson's daughter is getting married! Paris Jackson is engaged to her bandmate

Paris Jackson, the only daughter of the late Michael Jackson, has announced her engagement to her bandmate and partner, Justin Long. The 26-year-old musician and actress shared the heartwarming news on Instagram in a touching birthday tribute to her fiancé on December 6. Paris expressed her deep affection for Justin in her post, writing, "Happy birthday my sweet blue. Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind, and I couldn't dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with. Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you." 

The post included a carousel of photos that gave fans a glimpse into their relationship. Among the images were playful photobooth pictures, selfies, and snapshots of the couple in dragon-inspired medieval costumes for Halloween. The gallery also featured a cozy moment aboard their tour bus and an unforgettable photo of the proposal itself.   

A Romantic Proposal  

Justin's proposal was a picture-perfect moment set in an opulent hall adorned with sparkling chandeliers and ornate golden decor. Paris, dressed in casual yet chic attire—jean shorts with tights, knee-high brown boots, a cream sweater, and a matching fiddler cap—looked radiant as Justin knelt on one knee. 

Justin complemented her look with a simple yet classic ensemble of black pants, boots, and a white button-down shirt. Paris was visibly elated, smiling down at her partner during the life-changing moment. 

The couple, who began dating in 2022, share a mutual passion for music and touring. Paris, a talented musician in her own right, frequently tours with the rock band Incubus.  

 A Private Life in the Spotlight

Paris Jackson has balanced her public persona with a commitment to privacy. Alongside her brothers, Prince Jackson (27) and Bigi Jackson (21), she has largely stayed out of the limelight following the death of their father, the legendary Michael Jackson, in 2009. Despite the media attention that comes with her family name, Paris has carved her path as a musician, actress, and advocate, often using her platform to promote causes close to her heart.

While it might be too soon to know when and where Paris Jackson will get married, it is believed that she might walk down the aisle with her godfather. Her dad, Michael Jackson, who was meticulous about his daughter's name and the people around her, chose Elizabeth Taylor as her godmother and Macaulay Culkin as her godfather.

The actor has actively participated in her upbringing and personal development, according to the actor. "I am close with Paris," the Home Alone star told WTF with Marc Maron in 2018. She is beloved by me.

 "She's tall, and beautiful and smart," he added. "It's great."
