"Thank you for letting me be yours."
Paris Jackson, the daughter of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, is officially off the market. The 26-year-old singer-songwriter has revealed her engagement to her bandmate and beau, Justin Long.
In a heartfelt birthday shoutout on Instagram, Paris praised her “indescribable whirlwind” of a relationship.
“Happy birthday, my sweet blue,” she wrote on (Dec. 6). “Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind and i couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with. Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you.”
The post featured a carousel of moments including photobooth shots, intimate selfies, Halloween costumes and a romantic snap of them snuggled up on their tour bus. And to cap it off, the proposal itself.
Paris kept it effortlessly cool with jean shorts, tights, knee-high boots, and a chic cream sweater topped off with a fiddler cap. Meanwhile, Justin, who’s been by her side since 2022, brought classic vibes in black pants, boots, and a white shirt as he got down on one knee. Long got down on one knee inside a stunning hall decked in chandeliers and golden elegance.
Paris and her older brother Prince are the children of Michael and Debbie Rowe, a former medical assistant to his dermatologist, Dr. Arnold Klein. Rowe and Michael married in 1996 and divorced in 1999. When asked about rumors that she’s not biologically related to the late King of Pop, Paris was adamant that Michael will “always” be her father.
“I consider myself Black,” Paris told Rolling Stone in 2017, before sharing that MJ would “look me in the eyes and he’d point his finger at me and he’d be like, ‘You’re Black. Be proud of your roots.’ And I’d be like, ‘OK, he’s my dad, why would he lie to me?’ So I just believe what he told me. ‘Cause, to my knowledge, he’s never lied to me.”
Congratulations, Paris!
