This year, there's one colour trend that reigns supreme: chocolate brown. Whether it's clothes, bags or beauty, the colour is everywhere. Now, Michelle Keegan is getting involved in the trend by tinting her hair a hue inspired by Pantone's Colour of the Year for 2025, Mocha Mousse.
The Brassic actress, who is set to welcome her first child with husband Mark Wright in the coming months, poses for an in-salon snap with the trending new colour. Her colourist, Calum Tierney, who she turns to for most of her hair transformations, has uploaded the snap to his Instagram with the caption: "2025 is all about the Mocha Mousse hair colour".
Continuing, he pens: "It's the perfect blend of warm, rich brown tones with a touch of toffee. Paired with healthy, nourished hair, the colour radiates vibrancy and warmth using Wella Hair ultimate repair."
Calum goes on to share that Michelle has also had extensions fitted to give her more volume and bounce at the ends. "Extensions are Beauty Works in the shade Toffee Crunch & Dark Chocolate 18”. You can buy those exact shades as clip-ins from Beauty Works' website for £256.99. If you're getting them installed professionally, Beauty Works also offers those shades in tape form from £142.99.

If you want shine like Michelle's, you can pick up the exact styling range Calum used on her as a bundle of four – including a shampoo, conditioner, leave-in treatment and rescue booster – on Lookfantastic.
As always, Michelle is ahead of the beauty trends. Hair experts are predicting rich, brown tones like her new hue to trend all the way through to summer. Even blondes who have spent years getting regular bright highlights are set to go to the dark(er) side. Enter, teddy blonde., the perfect shade for those who still want to stay in the realm of blonde but also want to work more with their natural base shades.
"It's really for blondes worrying about their brightness," explains Siobhan Haug, colour specialist and co-founder of London's Haug House. "Whether it's due to the condition of their hair or the upkeep it takes, a bright blonde isn't workable for everyone in the long term. But a lived-in blonde that's lower maintenance, uses some of your natural hair colour and gives some depth at the roots is appealing to many.
Be right back, we're off to take Michelle's photo to our haircolourist.
