Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh Teller have lost their Pacific Palisades home in the Los Angeles wildfires.
Keleigh took to her Instagram account Thursday night to share the last photo she quickly took of their house as they were evacuating before it was engulfed in flames.
“To everyone reaching out I can’t thank you enough, your kind hearts have meant the world, I’ll never forget them,” she wrote in the post’s caption. “Community has come out stronger than I could imagine, Pacific Palisades I love you beyond measure; you are a little slice of heaven, we will come back stronger than ever.”
Keleigh also shared an image of their home, completely brought down to ash and rubble, in addition to a photo of their neighborhood, before and after the Palisades Fire swept through their community.
“If you’re in the LA area PLEASE get out if you can. I wish I grabbed my wedding dress .. wish I did a lot different but it doesn’t matter, stay safe, get out. there are no words,” she added in her post. “THANK YOU to the first responders fighting.”
Miles is best known for his roles in Top Gun: Maverick, The Spectacular Now, Fantastic Four and the Divergent franchise.

Since Tuesday, when the wildfires initially broke out in Pacific Palisades before spreading to parts of Malibu and Santa Monica overnight, first responders have been working to contain other active wildfires across the L.A. area, including the Eaton, Hurst and Kenneth fires. The death toll has also risen to 10 people, the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office said Friday.
On Wednesday night, another fire, named the Sunset Fire, broke out in the Hollywood Hills, endangering iconic landmark the Hollywood Bowl, among other tourist destinations. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze by Thursday morning.
As of Friday afternoon, the Kenneth Fire was 35 percent contained; the Palisades Fire near the coastline was 8 percent contained; and the Eaton Fire was 3 percent contained. The Hurst Fire, south of Santa Clarita, was 70 percent contained.
