Millionaire model's ex-bodyguard reveals biggest challenge he faced while working for her

EXCLUSIVE: Reality Tidbit catches up with Kendall Jenner’s former bodyguard this fall. Simon Newton lifts the lid on what it was like working with the reality TV star and model. Nowadays, Kendall is the highest-paid model in the world, but in her early days of walking the catwalk, Simon admits he had to ‘Google’ who she was.

The Kardashians fans have gotten to know Kendall Jenner and the rest of her family over the past 17 years. But, Simon is here to shed some light on what Kenny is really like in real life when the cameras aren’t rolling. According to the former soldier and bodyguard, she’s a “really nice girl.”

Bodyguard details working with Kendall Jenner

During two London Fashion Weeks, Simon Newton lent his security skills to much-loved Kardashians star Kendall.

At the time, she was “18 or 19 years old,” according to Simon, and she was as “laid back” as fans see her on her family’s Hulu show.

Speaking of what Kendall was really like, Simon tells Reality Tidbit: “She just a cool person, I really liked her.”

He adds how she was “herself the whole time,” and had a “chilled” vibe.

The security pro admits he did have to ‘Google’ who Kendall was when he found out she was his client, as this was back in the very early days of her modeling career.

This could also explain why Simon says the star wasn’t particularly “demanding,” given that she was a teen and at the beginning of her stardom. These days, Kendall might be less easygoing, but speaking of her back then, Simon doesn’t have a bad word to say.

As Kendall’s fame rises, she may also face more security risks. Reality Tidbit asked Simon what risks she faced when he worked with her, and he said the main issue she faced was “crowd build-up.”

“Not violent crowds, but people wanting to take pictures, and it might not have been an appropriate time,” he clarifies.

‘The poor girl just wanted to get some lunch’

Speaking of the biggest challenge he faced when working with Kendall, Simon says it’s actually something really mundane.

“Even if you want five minutes off, quite often you don’t get that,” he explains.

Simply getting some lunch proved super hard for the star.

Simon says: “If you just want to eat… I worked on my own with her as well, you can’t just go into a restaurant and sit down. And at such short notice.”

He continues: “My knowledge of London is good, but I’d still have to think where is best to go. First off, it would have to be a place suitable for her, because she’s not going to eat at McDonald’s. Secondly, somewhere maybe with a private room, an area where I can keep her away from everyone else in the restaurant. Little things like that can be difficult.”

“It isn’t anything that someone else wouldn’t ask for, but just stuff like that could be difficult at times,” continues the bodyguard.

“The poor girl just wanted to get some lunch,” he adds.
