Millionaires' feud goes 'on and on' despite 12 years of friendship

3 hours ago 2

These days Kyle Richards, 55, and Lisa Vanderpump, 64, aren’t exactly on talking terms. But, once upon a time, they were actually besties. During RHOBH’s early days, LVP and Kyle were thick as thieves. As Andy Cohen describes their feud as going “on and on” this November, we want to know where on earth their issues with each other came from.

It’s been five years since Lisa Vanderpump was a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member. Even though she’s no longer appearing on the Bravo show, Lisa is obviously still a big name in Los Angeles and she’s continuing her fame on Vanderpump Rules. As she and Kyle Richards continue to reside in the same luxurious zip code, they happened to bump into one another this fall.

Origin of Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump’s beef

Breaking down how Kyle and Lisa’s close-knit friendship fell apart, starts back in 2018.

Six years ago, Kyle accused Lisa of leaking a negative story to the press about their friend and co-star, Dorit Kemsley, 48.

People may recall the RHOBH scenes which saw Kyle tell Lisa: “Maybe you care more about your image than your friendships.”

  • OMG: So, what EXACTLY was Kathy Hilton having done to herself on RHOBH?!

Lisa said: “I swear on my children’s life, on Tiggy’s life, I, or nobody I know would give a story about Dorit… If you think that, I’m done with you, too.”

The RHOBH scene results in the famous line: “Goodbye, Kyle,” as Lisa tells her: “Show yourself out, darling.”

Lisa’s husband, Ken Todd, then calls Kyle a “liar,” and tells her to “get out” their house.

He adds how Lisa is being “ganged up on” by her RHOBH co-stars and tells Kyle: “12 years of friendship, done.”

Makes sense why season 9 was LVP’s last on Beverly Hills… and she didn’t attend the show’s reunion.

LVP and Kyle’s ‘run-in’

Years on from LVP and Kyle’s fall-out of epic proportions, the two had a recent run-in.

Speaking on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Kyle admits she and LVP did cross paths and tells the audience how Lisa was “friendly-ish.”

Kyle says: “Ken was friendlier, he gave me a hug… she doesn’t really hug now…”

The RHOBH star then does an impression of Lisa’s British accent, adding: “She was like ‘hello’.”

Andy said of the drama: “It just goes on and on.”

Kyle adds: “At least she said ‘Hi’ this time… that’s progress.”

Dorit, who was also best friends with LVP in the past, also spoke on where she stands with her today on another episode of WWHL.

Responding to a fan, Dorit said she’s always open to a reconciliation in life but Lisa “is the exception.”
