Miranda Hart has finally shared some details of her secret wedding to husband Richard Fairs and even revealed that there was one thing that left her guests in tears

Speaking on Radio 3's 'Private Passions', the 52 year old actress revealed that one tune had their loved ones sobbing bucketloads during her nuptials with the surveyor.
Opening up, Miranda gushed: "We sang it at our very small wedding. 'Initially, it was, like, 'Are we really going to do this? It's such a naff idea.' And the minute everyone started singing, people got so emotional and were really going for it with the beauty of the song."

Spilling more tea, she added: "Now it just makes me cry, and makes me think of the happiest day of my life as well."
The comic also confessed to having all but thrown in the towel on walking down the aisle before meeting her prince charming. "It makes me think of the recent joy of getting married, which I had sort of given up on the possibility of, and also the young me dreaming," Miranda shared.
"I've always been a dreamer. It's very emotional.", reports the Mirror.
Miranda left fans gobsmacked in October after spilling the beans on The One Show about her hush-hush wedding. Keeping details under wraps, she teased that "someone put a ring on it".
She gushed: "I'm married, I got married at 51 and it's just so lovely! I'd written Gary for onscreen Miranda and it wasn't until I was 49 that I met my person."
She hinted at a juicy detail in her book, saying, "It's a little undercurrent in the book, I'm not going to reveal how we met because that's a little bit of a twist. He's my best friend, we had the best fun and I'm just thrilled to be a young bride at 51."
Miranda expressed her wish for her readers to draw hope from her love story, adding, "The fact that I met someone during a pandemic, during chronic illness, when I couldn't get out of bed or out of the house... I really, really wanted to meet someone, I didn't want to do life on my own anymore," she revealed. "The fact that I could meet somebody, it's not some sort of romcom story but it's hope. Whatever situation you are in, there is always hope, things really do change."
