Miss Universe winners list: Meet all the beauty queens up to 2024

The 73rd edition of the Miss Universe pageant will take place tonight, and it will be held in Mexico City for the first time since 2007.

The contest, which has already passed its preliminary stages, will announce this day the new queen of world beauty, who will be crowned by the Nicaraguan Sheynnis Palacios, crowned queen in 2023.

The winner of the contest will be crowned with a beautiful piece of jewelry, which is created by Lebanese jeweler Mouawad, which has diamond and sapphire inlays with 993 stones.

Throughout history, nine contestants from the United States have managed to take home the prize, the first being Miriam Stevenson in 1954, while the last American beauty queen to win the prestigious pageant was R'Bonney Gabriel in 2022.

With these nine beauty queens, American women are the ones who have won the pageant the most times, followed by Venezuela with seven, and Puerto Rico with five.
