Molly-Mae Hague splits from Tommy Fury after five years

Molly-Mae Hague has clapped back at claims her Tommy Fury split was a "publicity stunt".

The former Love Island stars broke up in August 2024 but rumours have recently been flying after the pair were allegedly spotted kissing at a New Year's Eve 2025 party. Critics have accused the couple of generating publicity around them to promote Molly-Mae's new documentary, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, which is set to be released on Prime Video on 17 January.

Hague has denied these claims and explained that she is "frustrated" with the rumours. The 25-year-old influencer spoke at the launch of her doc, which features footage of Tommy.

When asked about the accusations, Molly-Mae responded: "I think that for me, above everything, has been the most frustrating part, because I actually say in the documentary, ‘I wish it was a publicity stunt’, because it’d be a lot easier."

"Because going through all of this with the turmoil of a break-up has been incredibly hard, to have those comments, and I do see the comments, I see all of them. People say, ‘oh, this has obviously just been done for long term brand or a publicity stunt’, that is very painful, because it’s real life."

Hague explained that the couple "have a baby together," their daughter Bambi, and the break up is "very, very real". She described the situation as "a really hard thing that we’ve both gone through the last six months."

“I wish it wasn’t, because it would have been a lot easier, but it isn’t. I think this documentary will clear up any impressions of that, you see the real side to it, it’s kind of like you’re a fly on the wall."

Moll-Mae predicted that viewers will be "not shocked but quite surprised by how honest we’ve been" in the Prime Video project. She was also asked about the pictures that circulated of Molly-Mae and Tommy kissing while ringing in the new year's celebrations.

“We are navigating a really complicated time in both of our lives, in the public eye, and I think this is a whole new territory for me. Obviously my relationship has always been in the public eye, but to deal with this break-up with millions of eyes watching, it is hard, and it is complicated."

“And I think the reason why I don’t comment on it, and why I don’t speak about it on my YouTube, or publicly is because simply, we are both navigating it ourselves, and we both are figuring it out as adults and as parents, we’re doing the best we can.

The first three episodes of Molly-Mae: Behind It All are launching exclusively on Prime Video on January 17, while the final three episodes will drop in spring 2025.
