Molly-Mae Hague made a sad admission in her latest vlog that she was 'struggling' in the lead up to Christmas Day as she spends it without Tommy Fury for the first time

Molly-Mae Hague made an emotional confession to her fans telling them she’s ‘feeling deflated’ as she prepares for her first Christmas since Tommy Fury split. The former Love Island star shared a Christmas Eve vlog showing herself and 23-month-old Bambi getting into the festive spirit with a trip to Lapand UK.

But the star confessed while talking to the camera that she was feeling ‘deflated’ about the holidays this year. She admitted that 'when you've got things going on in your personal life it can really make it feel 10 times worse'. The star split from her fiancé in August after five years together.

Molly-Mae confessed to her followers that she wasn't feeling in the ‘Christmas mood’ and that the reason for her absence on YouTube is that she has felt ‘mentally quite heavy' as she ‘struggled’ with the festive season.

She continued: “I don't really know why - well I do know why actually. But I just have found the last few days quite challenging mentally and I have been quite down to be honest and I haven't felt like picking up my camera. And even if I had picked up my camera it would be like fake happiness and fake giddiness about Christmas and I would never come on and act a way that I'm not feeling. Hence why I'm coming on now and telling you that I have been feeling a little bit low.”

Molly-Mae carried on being very honest and admitted: “It's so sad when people say that Christmas brings up emotions and for people it can be a really really sad time of the year and I feel like I've been so blessed in my life, I've never really felt that way at Christmas, it's always been a really positive time for me. But I feel like this is the first Christmas ever where I can really understand what people talk about when they talk about how it really makes you feel. Like when you've got things going on in your personal life it can really bring it all up and make it feel 10 times worse.”

Molly-Mae then confessed to feeling ‘guilty’ as her family were spending Christmas with her, and she didn’t feel like she was being a good ‘host’.

She said: “I just didn't feel like I could really be present because I have a lot of stuff on my mind and I was just thinking about a lot and feeling quite sad. Gonna wake up with hopefully a more positive attitude tomorrow, and we go again.

"I'm sorry the start of this vlog has been a complete disaster, because the last few days have been a complete disaster really. Not to put a downer on Christmas, because I think Christmas is amazing and I'm so lucky to have my loved ones around me, but for obvious reasons, this year is feeling very sad. That's no one's fault, it's just a sad situation.”
