Molly Mae's 'feelings hurt' by daughter Bambi

Molly-Mae Hague, 25, admitted her “morale” was low as she opened up about a problem she’s having with her daughter Bambi, one.

The Love Island star shares Bambi with her ex-fiancé Tommy Fury, 25. The duo now co-parents their little girl, but Molly revealed that she was going through a major parenting struggle. In a video shared on her YouTube on Wednesday, Molly emotionally shared that Bambi had “hurt” her by hitting and smacking at her face.

“Morale is a tiny bit low this morning. Just a tiny bit,” the former PrettyLittleThing creative director said as she opened the video. Molly looked very casual in a black jumper, with her hair tied back to show off her makeup-free face.

She continued: “Because… Bambi’s just a bit - she hurt my feelings a little bit, last two days. This morning was a bit frustrating as well. She’s gone to nursery this morning, and this was the first time she went in with absolutely zero tears, and she went in really happy, like waving, really excited to be there. So that was really, really positive. She’s settled in so well now at nursery. She’s only literally doing one day a week, but it’s just to get her used to being around other children and not being at home all the time. So that’s really good.”

After sharing the good news, however, Molly shared what was really playing on her mind. She revealed: “But, she has started this new - I don’t know if it’s like a terrible twos thing because she’s turning two in Jan. But she’s been a little bit hitty and smacky, and she keeps doing this thing like if I’m in front of her, she like goes for my face and grabs my face really hard. Yesterday she fully left a nail mark in my face from where she was grabbing me.”

The Netflix star described: “She keeps grabbing onto my neck, and squeezing so hard and digging her nails in, and she knows she’s doing it to hurt. Which is just so bizarre, because you just end up thinking to yourself ‘where have you learned that behaviour?’ Is that something that I’ve caused, to make you act like that?”

Molly then shared the different sorts of advice she’d heard about how to deal with the issue, with one friend telling her it was completely normal. She also admitted that while some articles online told her to ignore the behaviour, she didn’t know whether she should let Bambi continue to act in the same way.

“I don’t know,” she said as she moved on from the topic. “That’s why I’m feeling a bit deflated this morning.” Despite Molly-Mae’s present struggles, it was recently revealed that she and Tommy would pull out all the stops for Bambi’s first Christmas since the couple split in August this year.

"This year will be very different but Bambi will still be at the centre of everything. They're going to spend time together, the three of them, but it's unlikely they'll be waking up in the same house or anything, they're very much separated,” an insider shared.
