Monty Don left fans devastated as he shared an update on Gardeners' World.
The British horticulturist and broadcaster, 69, took to Instagram with a behind-the-scenes snap from filming of the hit BBC show, which he has presented since 2003.

The TV star took over as the main presenter of Gardeners’ World back in 2003, succeeding Ground Force's Alan Titchmarsh.
With age catching up, Monty has started pondering his future on Gardeners' World, admitting he wants to live a quieter life.
In an interview with The Guardian in 2023, he confessed: "I haven't got endless time left. If I'm still going strong in 20 years, that will be brilliant, but 20 years ago doesn't seem so long ago."
Monty disclosed plans to exit Gardeners' World "within the next five years" to devote his time and energy to more documentaries.
