Moto G 2025 series launches globally; Check price, specs, and more

Motorola has finally released the Moto G 2025 series in the global market. The series consists of two smartphones – Moto G 2025 and Moto G Power 2025. The devices are available in the market of US and Canada as now. Both the phones ship with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and have quite similar design as well. In Moto G 2025, you will get to see a thicker chin as compared to the Moto G Power. Apart from that, the color options for both the devices are also distinct.

As for the pricing, the Moto G 2025 is available in the market at a price of $199, that roughly converts to Rs 17,000, and it will be available on official Motorola website, Amazon, and more. The device will go on sale on May 2, 2025. On the other hand, the Moto G Power 2025 is available in the market for $299, roughly converts to Rs 26,000, and it will go on sale starting from February 6, 2025.

Moto G 2025 series specifications and features

The Moto G 2025 comes with a 6.7-inch display and Power brings a 6.8-inch display. The devices run on MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. Now, this comes as a downgrade in Moto G Power as its predecessor shipped with Dimensity 7020 processor. But at the same time, it is an upgrade over the Moto G as its predecessor shipped with Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC.

Furthermore, the Power variant from the series also brings IP69 water and dust resistance and the base variant gets IP52 rating. Both the smartphones operate on the Hello UX software based on the Android 15 operating system. The base variant offers 4GB LPDDR4X RAM along with 64GB internal storage. On the other hand, the Power variant brings 8GB LPDDR4X RAM along with 128GB internal storage.

The devices also have an expandable memory of up to 1TB via microSD card. The Moto G 2025 sports a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP secondary shooter. The only different here between the two phones in terms of sensors is that the Power variant brings an 8MP secondary sensor.
