When speaking to Daily Star exclusively ahead of series 11 of her TLC show show, Whitney, 40, opened up about some of the cheeky encounters and messages she's had since shooting to fame.

When asked if she's ever had any celebs in her DMs, she responded: "Yes of course! Just the other night I got the nicest message from an insanely famous UK singer — I won’t disclose who just for privacy reasons, but it absolutely made my day."

When quizzed further on if she's ever had any rude or wild celebrity encounters, she cheekily added: "Also yes of course! But I don’t like to gossip," she quipped with a wink.

Whitney opened up about her love life

After becoming a TLC icon and going viral online, it's say to say Whitney hasn't gone short of attention. However, she did spill that she thinks being famous has "definitely" had a negative affect on her love life.

She explained: "It’s definitely hindered it. Most people do not want the negative attention that being in the public eye brings.

"I’ve had countless dates decide not to even meet me after all when they realize what I do for a living and the ones who are excited about it are often trying to take advantage of me or are in it for the wrong reasons."

Unfortunately, the TV star has also become a target for cruel trolls over the years and some have even came to her own. Whitney recalled: "People regularly come to my home which makes me feel incredibly unsafe. I’ve had my house egged, bricks thrown through my car windows, more hate mail sent to my home than you can imagine, and even a death threat that caused the police to show up to my home in the middle of the night to make sure I hadn’t been murdered."
