The cause of the 44-year-old's death is yet to be revealed, but officials have confirmed that it is not being treated as suspicious.

However, a medical examiner is currently investigating the details.

Website TMZ reported that two dogs were removed from the property by Animal Control, and that's when Bob's body was discovered.

His was apparently not discovered for "weeks", and nobody had heard from him "for 22 days".

Bob was the band's second drummer, taking over from Matt Pelissier.

He played on MCR's hit 2006 album The Black Parade, and even has a songwriting credit for 2010 record Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.

He eventually quit the music industry and began working in real estate.

Shortly before his death Bob deleted all of his previous social media posts, before going on X and paying tribute late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, who took his own life in 2017.

He also praised Emily Armstrong, the singer who took over from Chester in the band.

He wrote: "Emily armstrong is destroying, shredding faces and making Chester proud. she was the perfect choice.

"AND she had to deal with the initial hate. that s**t is hard. trust me. word up."

Following Bob's MCR departure in 2014, the band also released a statement, via social media.

It read: "As of 4 weeks ago, My Chemical Romance and Bob Bryar parted ways.

"This was a painful decision for all of us to make and was not taken lightly, we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours and expect you all to do the same."
