Reality star Sarah Danser, known for her appearances on the Discovery Channel's survivalist series Naked and Afraid, has died aged 34.
The TV veteran was involved in a car accident on October 20 in Kahala, Hawaii where she was the passenger in a car whose driver lost control and smashed into a parked vehicle, according to local TV station KSLA.

The driver and one person in the parked car were seriously injured and hospitalised, but Danser was in critical condition and passed away two days later on October 22, according to a cited police report.
Through she was a Colorado native, she lived in Hawaii for over a decade.
She was known for her appearances in Seasons 8 (2017) and 11 (2020) of Naked and Afraid, as well as Season 4 (2018), Season 6 (2020) and Season 7 (2021) of Naked and Afraid XL.

She also starred in another survivalist reality show, Fight To Survive, in 2023.
Danser was remembered by her fellow Naked and Afraid cast, with Melissa Lauren, who starred alongside Danser in Naked and Afraid XL in South Africa, sharing a tribute to Facebook.
"Sarah was of the most adventurous souls I've ever met. She wasn't only a fierce survivalist... but a Breast Cancer survivor who kept an inspiring and positive attitude through her treatment. She loved the ocean, nature and exploring – I always considered her a 'modern day pirate'," Lauren wrote.

"She was one of those people that saw the world through the eyes of a child, in awe of the things that many of us take for granted. Rest easy Sarah, I know you're out there exploring somewhere."
Her friend Maeia Zimmerman spoke to KITV, a television station in Honolulu, Hawaii, about her late friend, admiring her for "working in a primarily male-dominated environment.
"As fun as it is, it can be very rough. It requires a lot of hard work and a lot of really good work ethic which she definitely had, and knowledge which she definitely had."
She added that Danser managed to do something "that I really respect" – create her own career, but her own art form and a message to the world.
